Victoria Campfire.

A very exhilirating campfire the whole story was a very interesting plot of a evil frog. We were given different colour bands which in a later activity we separated into coloured groups and it was a mix of different units. I met some very cool people in my group we had a lot of fun in team work games. I would love to meet them again in a future event.

Southern Cross 2023 Campfire

This was the fire at the 2023 campfire a very captivating moment for me, though everyone was around the campfire it was silent, not a whisper only the embers crackling. This campfire was a big thing in the making. I was in charge of the fire as well as a skit. The fire work was simply arranging the wood to allow maximum efficiency and dosing the wood in kerosene. The skit was the biggest ploy, many months my patrol spent practicing and on the actual skit there were minor hiccups but it was overall successful, thankfully most of my patrol doesn't get stage fright.

Personally i have had a lot of fun during this workshop, it was a very enjoable experience learning and trying out the different steps in making items. Sorting was not that exhilarating but it tested our teamwork as we had to remove stickers from milk jugs and put them into different compartments based on their plastic type and pass it on to the washing station. The washing station was simple as we just had to fill the bottle with a little bit of soap and water, shake it , dump the excess and dry it. The plastics are then shredded into flakes and are put into a melting press whete there was a lever we needed to press down to compress the melted plastic into the mold. It was very fun as we could just hang from the lever and press down on it, many of us tested our s...
